F2 went to see The Snow Queen at the Polka Theatre for a marvellous production. On their return to school they had some related activities: an art workshop where the pupils used paper-cutting techniques to begin making a story box scene, a break for a snowflake cookie (provided by our wonderful chef, Phil) and a drama workshop…

Parents of our junior department children have a feast of nativities to enjoy, starting with ‘Hey Ewe!’ by our Lower & Middle Preps. Our Nursery follwed with a wonderful ‘Christmas sparkle’ and Upper Prep and Form One produced a stunning ‘A Way in a Manger’ There was beautiful singing, energetic dancing and wonderful costumes…..all together telling…

What a busy week for our Under 8s. As a parent said, “I can’t imagine there’d be many schools where, on consecutive days, I’d be able to watch my daughter play netball one day, and then rugby the next!”

History was made with our 1st mixed netball fixture. Everyone played extremely well and were a credit to the school. Our pupils showed brilliant sportsmanship & determination and, most of all, had fun playing despite the freezing temperatures. Thanks to Cranleigh prep for a super U8 fixture.

Cranmore retains the Henkes Shield for 7th year in a row! The annual Henkes Shield football competition v Rokeby Prep School is always a much anticipated fixture for both schools. It was a super morning’s entertainment and all 140+ players involved in the competition are to be congratulated. Rokeby old boy, Sebastien Henkes, had captained Rokeby’s 1st XI some 30+ years ago and…
