Parents and visitors give their opinions of Cranmore School
A lovely Catholic prep school for boys and girls with strong sports and music offerings, plus excellent results. Nothing at all to fault here.
Good for: Well-rounded kids. The vibe is informal and friendly, but academically strong – not an easy mix to pull off. The superior sport, drama and music facilities are impressive and all children get to participate fully.
Given the excellent standard of teaching across the core curriculum, music, arts, and sport, as well as the fantastic facilities available at the school, it is easy to overlook the exceptional pastoral care that the school provides. [Parent]
I would not hesitate to recommend the school to any prospective parent, whether of a boy or a girl, who is looking for a well run, academically strong school, with an amazing range of facilities and activities, where the children really do learn and grow together. [Parent]
The fifth and sixth forms (Years 7 & 8) have been a particularly rewarding experience; being at the top of the school, and given key positions of responsibility, has enabled their leadership skills to flourish and self-assurance to grow. [Parent]
In the time that our eldest daughter has attended Cranmore, she has become noticeably more confident in herself, which I attribute to the fact that she is exposed to a very wide variety of activities at the school. Students are provided with opportunities in sport, art, music, as well as Forest School – which are integrated into the core curriculum – all of which are taught by specialist staff. [Parent].
From the first day Cranmore, and its ethos, has provided an environment where both our children are delightfully happy and confident, whilst instilling the drive for academic and sporting achievement. [Parent]
…high aspirations of the school, the meticulous curriculum planning and organisation, the wonderful pastoral care and professionalism and dedication of the teachers…..really set Cranmore apart from other schools [Parent]
