Junior Games

The unifying effect of whole year groups joining together in inclusive activities provides the grounding for much that they will achieve throughout their years at Cranmore.

In the Autumn Term, Football is the main focus of the Games' afternoons with pupils from the Nursery up to the Ones (Year 3) coming under the tutelage of Chelsea F.C. Coaches. Fixtures are played against other schools in the Middles, Uppers and Ones.

In the Spring Term, Rugby is taught throughout the Junior Department. The focus is on a controlled introduction to the basics of the sport to ensure enjoyment and progression.  Our boys are introduced to match play and, when ready, external fixtures.

The Summer Term brings the arrival of the Cricket season. Some form of the game is played throughout the year groups with the Ones representing the school in fixtures.
