Cricket

Cricket is the main striking and fielding game played at Cranmore. The basic skills of the game are introduced in the Lowers (Reception) using soft balls and modified equipment. As boys progress through the year groups their techniques are refined using one on one, group and net coaching.

The five indoor nets and bowling machine are regularly used by our senior teams and also county youth squad practices. The school generally fields three teams in each age group with the addition of a 4th XI in the senior age. Many of our boys play for club, County District or full County age group teams.
