The School Day
Cranmore is a very busy school. In order to provide an extensive programme of extra curricular activities for your sons, some clubs begin at 8am.
For boys not involved in these activities supervision is provided from 8.15am.
Registration and Form time is at 8.40am and boys meet for assembly at 8.55am. Lessons begin at 9.15am. There are nine 35-minute periods each day. Within this framework there is also provision for a Form Teacher/ House Tutor period.
There is a 15- minute break at 11.00 am and lunch at 1.05pm. During the lunch hour there are a number of supervised activities available. Afternoon registration is followed by three teaching periods.
For boys in the Senior Department lessons end at 4'0 clock. However, there are a number of extra curricular activities that continue until 5'0 clock and beyond. A member of staff supervises boys waiting at the car park for a parent or carer at 4'0 clock. Should a parent or carer be delayed beyond 4.25pm boys are taken to the Late Class.
