In the Junior Department, the Form Teacher plays an essential role in the social, emotional and educational development of all the boys in the class. The teacher will get to know the boys really well as they spend a large proportion of the working day together. 

A relationship of respect, understanding and trust is evident between every class teacher and the boys. Form Teachers will have the most comprehensive view of how a boy is progressing and therefore are usually the first point of contact for parents.

In the Senior Department, the Form Teacher will also have an overview of all the boys in the class. There is close liaison with the many subject specialists to ensure that all aspects of a boy's progress and development can be fully monitored.
