Extra Curricular | Charities
The school supports a small number of Charities. The rationale behind the Charities we choose to support is based very firmly on two things: the Catholic ethos of the school and the needs of the local community within which the school is situated. Some of the smaller organisations we support rely heavily on donations they receive from us.
Annually all the boys, through their physical efforts and supported by the generosity of the parents raise nearly £10,000.
The Charities the school currently supports are listed below:
CAFOD, (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development)
St. Sebastian's school in India
The Catholic Children's Society,
Cherry Trees, a local respite home for handicapped children.
The Horsley Old People's Welfare Association.
The older boys make small monthly donations of foodstuffs to the Leatherhead Hostel for the homeless. Annually after the Harvest Thanksgiving a much larger donation is taken to the Leatherhead and Guildford projects for the homeless by members of our 6 th Form.
