Discovering India

This week the children have been finding out about India and Diwali. Activities have included making diva lamps from clay and lighting them, trying on saris, eating poppadoms, learning about tigers and elephants and exploring lentils and rice by pouring, scooping etc. We’ve also been hearing the initial sound “ i” in words.
