Extra Curricular | Bridge
The Cranmore Bridge Club is open to boys in the 4 th, 5 th and 6 th forms and meets every Tuesday between 4pm and 5pm. Boys learn to play Mini Bridge, a game that was first introduced in Holland where it was developed as a terrific introduction to bridge for school children. They learn all about the play of the cards without having to worry about the bidding- that will come later!
Cranmore pairs enter the annual Surrey Bridge Event, often hosted by the school, and also enter the Schools’ Mini Bridge Simultaneous Pairs competitions. As well as these, the boys enjoy friendly games with other local schools.
