Geography

We help pupils to understand both the natural environment and that created by human beings and the relationship between the two.

Our pupils are taught through a variety of methods, including field studies, which allows them to share their own experiences and opinions. They will gradually develop and strengthen their understanding through several strands including:

• practising geographical skills
• learning about a huge variety of places
• examining current social, economic, political issues
• studying the physical and human environment

Ultimately geography attempts to instil in pupils the philosophy that we are responsible for the well-being of the earth and all that inhabit it.
