As a charity Cranmore School has four charitable objectives:
- To support local and national charities and our community. The Juniors regularly raise funds for the West Horsley Good Companion Club and Cherry Trees Respite Care Home, distribute food donated from the Harvest Festival, hold a sponsored swim, run cake sales and support other ad hoc causes. Our Seniors hold an annual sponsored Action Day for CAFOD, a sponsored Wild Tie Day for the Lourdes Pilgrimage Trust, provide and distribute food for the Leatherhead Night Hostel and also support Cherry Trees.
- To broaden access with our Financially Assisted Places Scheme. For those who are unable to afford full fees, our scheme can benefit some families.
- To enable use of our facilities by local schools and the community. Schools, clubs and individuals use our: indoor heated 25m swimming pool, sports hall with its football, cricket, basketball & squash courts, and fitness suite, 4 outside all-weather tennis courts, 2 grass cricket squares, football 7 rugby pitches and a 9-hole par 3 golf course. All enquiries to Mr Mike Mellstrom - email@example.com
- To provide a high quality education with an ethos that supports each pupil’s spiritual and social development. Pupils leave our School equipped with life-benefiting attributes of care and concern for others, tolerance and trust.
